Facts

Faliraki is a seaside village renowned for its beach resorts, 5km long stretch of sandy beaches and its vibrant nightlife. One of Europe’s biggest water parks is located in Faliraki.

Brief history

Faliraki was a rural area until the end of 60s, known for its agriculture products and fresh fish. There were only two seaside tavernas to serve locals and fishermen. In the early 70s, Faliraki started to attract visitors from different parts of Europe, and within a few years it became one of the most popular destination in Greece.
